We don't beat the Aussies much in cricket. So, when Chris Pringle needed to bowl a maiden over in the last over of the game to win in Hobart, and have a chance of making the 1990/91 World Series Cup Finals, it seemed that trend was unlikely to change.
My Dad and I had rushed home from a haircut to watch the final over after listening to the game unfold on the radio in the car. The next six balls were so tense for a young kid on the edge of his seat, but the sheer excitement felt after New Zealand won had me hooked on the sport for life!
